Re: Editable listview with combobox

I will see if I find some time to look at the listview code on the weekend.
The problem is actually motivating myself to look at DDT code. It would be
surprising if I can pull that off.

Re: Problem with PBVList

That is because the third-party controls are not unicode aware. By default, new projects are unicode aware. Do the following: 1) From the "Project" menu, select "Settings...". 2) Go to the "OS" tab of the Project Editor. 3) Uncheck the UNICODE option. 4) Click "Fin...

Try the following:

Add the WS_CLIPCHILDREN window style to the dialog.
Add the WS_CLIPSIBLINGS window style to the statusbar and listbox.

Phoenix OLE Container SLL update

An update is now available for the OLE container in the Phoenix Visual Designer. This update fixes a bug in the SLL version of the OLE Container. Events containing string paramters caused a General Protection Fault(GPF) when fired from ActiveX controls such as the Microsoft WebBrowser. Note: the DLL...

Re: Awesome Program!

Thanks for the compliments. A Phoenix update is being worked on but will probably be delayed because of work being done on the grid control. The delay could be used to expand the samples. Because of the delay, the fix for the way the wide version of the OleSink handles strings will be released befor...

Re: Nested IFs, END IFs and TAB

It is by design. To understand why, see the following section in the Help file: Code Snippets: Using Code Snippets. When the Tab key is pressed after a shortcut for a code snippet, the editor inserts the snippet at the caret position and enters literal replacement mode when applicable. To exit liter...

Re: Layout 32: Where to put the rules?

The rules can be placed in a callback, but not under the WM_SIZE message. Layout32 subclasses the form in order to monitor the WM_SIZE message. As a result, Layout32 sees the WM_SIZE event before the callback for the form sees it. This means that rules that are placed under the WM_SIZE event in the ...

Re: Project File

The project knows about the file, but the code generator does not write an #include metastatement for it. You will have to manually add the #include metastatement to the main project file. When you open the main file in a project, you will see code similar to the following: ' >>PHNX_BEGIN_OPTIONS '=...

Re: Context Menu

Thanks for reminding me about this bug. I had forgotten about it. This appears to be a bug that was introduced during the last update. And while I am at it, there is another bug that has to do with the SLL version of the OLE container and notifications with string parameters. This one has been fixed...

Re: Tab Control question

3.0.7.200 is the latest version available for download.

Ignore the second method, it will be available in the next update.
I thought it was already in 3.0.7.200.
