Editable listview with combobox

Postby towlerg » Thu May 19, 2016 1:47 am

Hi

I realise I could use a grid for this but it seems like overkill.

My project is a device which will attach to a PC via USB and will allow the rapid experimentation for I2C and SPI serial protocols, then generate code for a PIC compiler.

The usual process is to write test code, compile it, burn the PIC, run the code and display the results. Repeat till it works or till you give up.

Among the several examples of editable listview with combobox, I found one that seems to do everything I need. It is here http://forum.powerbasic.com/forum/user-to-user-discussions/source-code/25732-listview-custom-draw-cell-edit-combo-checkbox-more I don't expect you to do the work for me but any pointers would be great. In particular I don't understand how to port the callback.

On completion I would be happy to post code for both PIC and PC.

This is as far as I've gotten

I will see if I find some time to look at the listview code on the weekend.
The problem is actually motivating myself to look at DDT code. It would be
surprising if I can pull that off.
